World Record Run (from Norway to South Africa)

We´ve had a very good start into the world record drive. The Touareg goes like a Swiss watch. We left Norway in dense snowfall. The snowy and icy vehicles, which passed by when we drove the first 300 km caused astonishment. When we reached Finland, it became clear: the onset of winter came one day early. A closed snow cover of 2-3 cm waited for us in the Finnish woodlands.

Grace to the great Goodyear Wrangler tires we had good traction and were safe on the road. Later, we had a sunny day and enjoyed the nice landscapes of Sweden. It was the first day, on which we had all meals inside the car - won´t be the last time!

For now, we´re moving towards Stockholm, where we´ll arrive around 9 p.m. We received several messages, that live tracking via our GPS System works perfectly with the HP App. Special thanks go to the HP employees, who made this happen.

After refueling in the capital of Sweden, we´ll have a nonstop drive to Denmark, from where we´ll take the ferry to Germany.
