World record drive has started!
The Touareg CapetoCape Team is on it´s way. Shortly after 3 am, mayor Ms. Hansen send us on our World Record Drive. To mark the occasion, she brought her chain of office, which shows that our project is highly appreciated up here at the most Northern tip of Europe. She brought a present and a personal letter for the mayor of Africa´s most Southern municipality Cape Agulhas, which we´ll deliver. Her wish became ours when she pressed the start button of our stop watch.
The season´s first snow came also with her, so we were accompanied by snowfall which we could only leave by sunrise. In a few hours, we will already leave Norway and cross Finland shortly, before we drive southbound through sweden.
