Support of SOS Children's Village Khartoum
On Thursday, November 20th, visiting the SOS children's village in Khartoum, Sudan, was on our agenda. Philip, an employee of the German embassy in Sudan accompanied us to the children's village, where the Mamas of the village had prepared a great welcome for us. More than 50 children came to take a closer look at the Touareg and listened carefully when Rainer told them about the world record drive. It was great to see their wonderful work once again and all these curious, happy children.
Rainer supports SOS children's villages since 2005, with all projects he has done. For Touareg CapetoCape he donates 20 Euro Cents for every kilometer driven. It is always a great pleasure to visit the SOS children's villages after the record drive, to see where the donation actually goes. The money contributes to maintenance and running costs. Goodyear EMEA has declared to double the charity budget of Rainer Zietlow. Fantastic! Thank you very much for this great decision. A short video about our visit at SOS-Children Village in Khartoum will soon be online.
