Scout Tour (From 3rd to 20th of September)

The exhibition day has come - the Touareg Cape to Cape team with Rainer Zietlow, Marius Biela and Matthias Prillwitz came together at Frankfurt´s trade fair "Automechanika". Rainer traveled in the Touareg from Munich, where he had been invited to join the presentation of the new Touareg "Facelift". Marius packed his bags in Trier, to get all camera gear together to catch all adventures and emotions of this tour on tape. The latest team member, Matthias Prillwitz, came from Berlin - with him, he brought mainly tools and equipment to get the Touareg back on track in case something happens. Last but not least Dana - she holds the fort in the back office and will be on the spot immediately to help us out.

Today, we´ve spent the day on the trade fare, to meet our partners and sponsors and to present our project. The HPC2C team from Hewlett Packard came especially for us, to finalize the tracking system - for download onwww.hp.com/go/hpc2c.

That´s for sure - the Touareg is ready to go and we are highly motivated.
